Today I got the time to test FreeBSD and PIC development. I found
packages for gputils and sdcc. There is no gpsim package but
an old version (0.21.2) builds okay after installing some
packages: gtk+extra, popt and readline. The latest version of
gpsim (0.21.11) does not build even though I can build the
latest version of gtk+extra 2.1.1 using the source tar ball.

Anyway I am only using FreeBSD for two days so I guess this is
good enough for now.
