: GrCopyArea(GR_DRAW_ID id, GR_GC_ID gc, GR_COORD x, GR_COORD y, GR_SIZE
: width, GR_SIZE height, GR_DRAW_ID srcid, GR_COORD srcx, GR_COORD
: srcy,
: int op);
:
: What is the "int op" used for ?
Currently not much, but later will be used as the opcode for the
driver level blitters, such as copy, xor, and, etc.
I'm currently redesigning GdArea, GdReadArea, GdCopyArea,
and GdBlit, which are basically slightly different versions of the
same thing.
: And does it copy directly from one screen to an another one. or can you
: use this to "scroll" up and down with ? Up is never a problem, but
: down....
A screen-to-screen blit is the basis for a scroll up or down, yes.
A helper function, GdScroll, could be written that is basically
a wrapper around CopyArea or Blit.
Currently, Nano-X/Microwindows treats Area, ReadArea, and
CopyArea all differently, when really they're the same. Perhaps
you should wait for the next cut before writing this.
