Hi,

I had similar problems with my attempt to get my
brand-new Plustek 12000T to work under Redhat 7.0.

I did not change gcc to kgcc, but found that my
Redhat-Upgrade installed Kernel 2.2.16, but the
kernel-headers for 2.4.0. after a forced de-install,
I was able to compile, but now I get unresolved
symbols on "make load". Only the trick you gave
in
http://www.linuxhacker.org/cgi-bin/ezmlm-cgi?3:mss:285:200012:mohcjaglaeelfhmfmedm
made it work, even parport and parport_pc where
loaded.

I just scanned my first picture with the scanner
I bought Saturday at Mediamarkt for 111 DEM. A
big thank you to all the people who made it possible
to use a cheap scanner with Linux!!!

Happy Scanning,
Stefan.

PS: I'm not on the List, I just searched and
found the answers here...
