Hello,
xsane Ver 0.83 don't run with mustek bearpaw 1200 (xsane: Keine Geräte
erreichbar).
When I run "scanimage" I become the following outputs:
linux:~ # scanimage -V
scanimage (sane-backends) 1.0.7; backend version 1.0.7
linux:~ # scanimage
scanimage: no SANE devices found
linux:~ # scanimage -d plustek:/dev/usbscanner
P6
# SANE data follows
248 150
255
a lot of waste
I have under Suse Linux 8.0 install the follow two files:
sane-backends-1.0.7.tar.gz
sane-frontends-1.0.7.tar.gz
When I run "sane-find-scanner" I become the following outputs:
sane-find-scanner: found USB scanner (vendor = 0x0400, product = 0x1000) at
device /dev/usb/scanner0
sane-find-scanner: found USB scanner (vendor = 0x0400, product = 0x1000) at
device /dev/usbscanner
I have insert the follow in the file "/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf":
[usb] 0x0400 0x1000
device /dev/usbscanner
In "/etc/modules.conf" I have insert:
options scanner vendor=0x400 product=0x1000
In "/usr/lib/sane/" are the following files:
248530 Mar 25 23:00 /usr/lib/sane/libsane-plustek.a
/usr/lib/sane/libsane-plustek.so -> libsane-plustek.so.1.0.7
Thanks Ralf
