Hi,
well, in general I prefer the communication via the mailing-list,
as this list should provide info for all others that might have
problems...
Well, there are two problems, the first one should be easy
to solve, as you should first load the parport and the parport_pc
module before loading the ptdrv module.
That's all.
The other one is a SANE-Problem and you should refer to their
mailing list at www.mostang.com/sane.
It has something to do with a newer GIMP-Version. I think this
has been solved in SANE 1.0.4
