Hi,
On a related but slightly off-topic note...

Anyone have experience (and success) programming/reading 12c509a parts?
  I've had a devil of a time.

I'll save the sorry details, but I've used two programmers (El Cheapo
and P16Pro), two parallel cables, two wallwarts, two computers, and two
different codes (picallw and picprg.2.2-giskard-mikedlt.tar.gz with the
509 patch from http://quozl.netrek.org/gpprg/).

I've successfully programmed one part, ruined several, and I can't
realiably read back the one good part.

Any 509 wizards out there? :-)

Thanks for your patience and any suggestions
