There's another modified version of picprg at:
http://picprg.sourceforge.net
I have tried with 16F84 and 16F876 and it works fine.
I think it would be better if there was only one
modified picprg, accepted by everybody. Byron, could
we work together on this? .

I also have an updated version on my PIC page. Though
Brian never published
a GPL copy, he told me in correspondence that he
wanted picprg to be GPL'd
