More important to me, the compiler from Hi-tech generates
the best code I have ever seen, comparing to CCSC, C2C, and so on.

i also have very high praise for hi-tech, and they
sell a linux version too which is great. hi-tech
also has a mailing list which i think is another
indicator of a good product.
although i'll switch over to SDCC as soon as that
is ready....
