Hi all,
we have a reasonably large project developed in mpasm on windows. we are
planning to port it to linux on windows. are there any docs on the
porting process?

the first difficulty i encountered:
whiling compiling simple asm file that contains register names (such as
EECON1, STATUS etc), gpasm gives the following error messages:

init.asm:16:Error [113] Symbol not previously defined (EECON1).
init.asm:18:Error [113] Symbol not previously defined (EECON2).

although i understand that i could create these symbols using EQU, i
don't how to handle registers that are on both banks but have different
addresses; for e.g., STATUS.

pls. give me some info/pointers.

thanks,
Deva Seetharam
