I've written some C libraries for the midrange 14-bit PICs and I want to
share them. The code is under the GPL and available here:

The libraries were written for use with CCS's PIC C compiler. Hopefully
they can be ported to another compiler, like SDCC. I'm too busy using the
libraries right now to do the port.
The libraries include: code (non-PIC) to pack two 7-bit values into a
14-bit word, code (PIC) to unpack the values, an LCD library that supports
custom characters and strings packed into ROM, an LCD menuing library, and
a bootloader of unusual size.
