I've tried using picp since we already had a PICstart Available to
us, but it complained about it needing a firmware upgrade so I
bought a new chip and gave it one. I got the firmware by downloading
the latest MPLab 5.x that they had on their website and now it doesn't
even respond except to MPLab. That was firmware upgrade 3.0, what
version are you using? Do you know if there is a simple way to make
picp work with 3.0?
