You can use the 'frequency' command to get the speed.
gpsim> frequency
Clock frequency: 4 MHz.
(The stopwatch window (in cvs only, I believe) also displays the frequency.)
You can type 'help' for a list of commands, or help 'command' for more
detailed help.
gpsim> help step
step [over | n]
no arguments: step one instruction.
numeric argument: step a number of instructions
"over" argument: step over the next instruction
