So you get that font not found dialog, right? Or do you not get a dialog
and gpsim silently uses courier?
When you go to the font selection dialog and select the filter tab
and hilight the "iso8859-1" in the charset list. Do this font appear
when you go back to the Font tab?

Does anyone else on the list have this kind of problem? Perhaps the
reason it works is that I have the adobe fonts.

I don't have a good answer for you. (I notice that the font dialog on my
machine appears without windowmanager border! Bugger.)
