Great news Andrew!
At the moment I'm using the 18f452. I do my development under windows
(with gpsim and gpasm), but have to go to an old windows box to program my
'f452's. I looked briefly at the .hex files produced by gpasm and they're
nearly identical to the ones produced by MPASM. The differences appear to
be only in the config words.
