Maybe Ralf can answer this better, but this sounds like the debian gtkextra is
old. (although the version is correct). The one on my web page is 0.99.9 and
should work with gpsim-0.20.0 and greater.

I'm not sure which versions of gtk+extra Joop used. Perhaps he can clarify this
for us. (I don't use debian so I have no way of telling).
