okay, I installed version readline-4.1-k4 from
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/Kondara/Kondara-1.2/i586/Kondara/RPMS/
and I get this:
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetnum'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgoto'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetflag'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `BC'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tputs'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `PC'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetent'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `UP'
/usr/lib/libreadline.so: undefined reference to `tgetstr'
This looks like there's another library that needs to be linked in. But, this is
nothing like the errors from Matt and Garst.
This was the first `4.1' readline library I found. Anyone have suggestions of
where I may find a good/bad 4.1?
