Picp version 0.6.1 and gpicp version 0.0.6 for Linux are now online at
http://home.pacbell.net/theposts/picmicro.

Gpicp (requires SDL) is a GUI wrapper for the picp program. This version of
picp supports the Warp-13 programmer in addition to the Microchip PICSTART
Plus programmer.

Read/write/erase of data memory (eeprom), ID locations, and configuration
bits are now implemented. There is still much work to be done, so please
email bug reports and feature requests directly to me.

Many thanks to Jim Robertson of Newfound Electronics for his generous
donation of a Warp-13 programmer and for his expert advice, and to Wayne
Patterson for his tireless banging on the beta code and helpful bug reports.

I hope PIC programmers in the Linux community find these programs useful, and
with your feedback future versions will become even more useful.

Cheers,
Jeff
