Hi All,

I just started to experiment with GPAL. One of important features for me
would be the overlaying of variables (so the local variables in
different procedures could reuse the same registers).
The docs just mention such feature in a single place: "Local constants
and variables are declared in <declarations>. Any variables declared in
this region may be permanent or overlayed with data from other
subprograms."
However when I tried to write a simple program with some local variables
defined in different procedures (not calling each other, but called
consecutively by the main procedure) the variables were not overlayed.
Does this feature require a special command line option?

TIA & Regards,
Wojtek Zabolotny
