Hi,

In my timer0 and timer1 interrupt handler code, I'm setting the timer0
and timer1 values to specific values, to speed up the interrupts.

I'm sure it's a very common technique used by lots of people to
guarantee interrupts coming in at an exact frequency.

My question is - is there a term for this value written to the timer
registers? In my code, I'm calling it a 'bias', but I'm sure there's a
more appropriate term.
