The gtk world is at a cross roads. There are legacy apps that still
require GTK-1.x, but as time goes on more and more applications are
transitioning to GTK-2.x. Borut and I decided to transition into the
future. So the default is the future, and you have to go out of your way
to dig up the past. But, the real problem is that while gpsim is ready to
adopt GTK-2.x, gtk-extra is not. And as long as gtk-extra lingers in
legacy, we'll keep the 'autocrap' lid open...
