FYI Thinkpad bios won't let you use the keyboard for setting things. You 
have to use the red mouse thingy to move a cursor around the scren. The 
cursor looks like a bird that flaps its wings when you move it ;-( And 
there are several easter egg key combinations in those screens for 
setting serial numbers and such.

Command line written with a front end in Python or Tcl in mind ? I.e. 
will print progress ticks under certain circumstances, and well formed 
output.
