Subject: Bugs? in gpal

I know I was forwarned that gpal is pre-alpha, so I'm not really
complaining. But here is a list of problems that I have stumbled on.
I'm wondering if these are REAL problems or my misunderstanding.

-- shifts (<<) dont work on variables -> yields syntax errors in gpasm
--	rlf	%, blah
-- must use lookup table on variables. Shift works OK on constants.
-- bit negation doesnt work ~(blah) gives segmentation faults in gpal.
-- must use negation - 1 to form complement.
-- RETURN statement in a procedure doesnt work. must use GOTO endlabel;
-- pointers dont work. ACCESS mode not implemented?
-- structures dont work. RECORD isnt implemented?
-- No ASCII!. have to handcraft each I/O with PC.

Thanks,
Bob
