Ähm,
I don't know exactly what your discussion is about cause I didn't get
mails from gnupic for a while but I think you are talking about how to
make modifiable menus/windows for gpsim.
And you were talking about using XML for defining such Windows (is that
right).
I wrote programs using "libglade". libglade is a library used by the GTK
Window Design Tool "Glade".
libglade has functions which allow a XML File created with Glade to be
loaded and used as normal GTK Widget(Window).
I think there is also a library for glade which allows the moving of
widgets in GTK Windows during runtime and to save a XML file with this
new "configuration" to disk.
If you problem is to make configurable/modifiable X-Windows then this
could be a solution to your problem and I could help you.
