Hi Marek,

I am only just beginning to use SDCC myself, however I can tell you that the
PIC16 port (i.e. for 18Fxxx family) seems to be working for me so far. I have
written up a guide for compiling SDCC for Linux:

http://ubicomp.lancs.ac.uk/~martyn/sdcc_linux/

I have a test application for the PIC18F252 that I haven't yet included on
that page, but I will get it up there after I've written this email!

I know there are some libraries available for the PIC16 family, I am planning
to working through and create some test apps for these (unless some one can
point me to some good documentation which I haven't found...)

Hope this helps,

Martyn
