hi everyone, my uni currently uses windows and MPLAB for pic development. i think that's crap. it's a uni, it shouldn't be spreading the microsoft disease amongst the youth!!!
i want to write up a proposal to go in and set up the same systems they have running on windows and MPLAB using FreeBSD and gputils. the biggest barrier i can see is that they use ICD2 USB programmers with in circuit debugging... and they love it.
has anyone worked with in circuit debugging and/or the ICD2 programmer using gputils?
