It's not a problem, it's extra functionality.  :-)

That's fair enough if you call it the same thing.  You can call the
wrapper "mygpasm" or "peterasm" or something like that, and there's no
confusion.  I don't think your changed gpasm is likely to be any less
confusing.

Anyway, it's your system, you can do what you like of course.  :-)
