Check out PICkit 1 and Mark Rages' hack on Linux. You may
need to adapt the code for 16F913.

My main box here at work is a Linux machine with no serial ports. I
could pull out an older PC and use it as a dedicated PIC development
machine, but I'd rather not.
What's the recommended USB (or parallel) programming method for a 16F913?
