Even if you upgraded to a newer version of gpsim you'll discover that 
the 12F629 is still not supported. The only viable option with gpsim is 
to pick a supported PIC that's close enough. Otherwise you'll have to 
use Mplab or some other simulator. (I'm assuming you don't want to dive 
into gpsim and support for the 12F629).
