I learnt PIC assembler from a book entitled "An Introduction to PIC
Microcontrollers" [Penfold, Babani, 0-85934-394-4). As an experienced C
programmer, I found it a very good introduction to the programming language,
although it uses chips which are rather outdated now (16C5x series).
