I followed the procedures and got both sample c programs working correctly
under Ubuntu Linux and Cygwin. Thanks a lot.
There are some warning messages. I am not so sure what happened. It seems to
me still a problem with the lib building process.

P.S. I got some problem with the company Exchange 5.5 Webmail system and can
not simple reply the post (under both Linux and Windows). Therefore I have
to manually post the reply message and please pardon me if one got the
