Ok, email stuff to me directly.
I'll try to test it and contribute to the HOWTO.
Expect may iterations.

David McNab's  idea of "walking in the shoe's of the newbie"
is only an approximation.   You can never loses/hide your
knowledge.   There is no substitute for a real newbie.
Preferably a whole set of them are needed to test.

An example: I aborted my attempts at pikforth at one stage
because I couldn't find out how to 'scroll the screen traces
up to read them'. And the 'boss-man' couldn't imagine that anybody
could have such problems.
