Of all the three major open source PIC related projects
(gputils/gpsim/sdcc), gputils obviously has been quite
reliable and matured. That is also why I think the version
number should be boost to V1.00 to let people feel more
confident in using gputils.
So far I have only experimented a bit on gputils and I
have no problems to assembly my code written in MPASM.
Still I have one question, the hex files generated by
MPASM and gputils are really different in one test assembly
file even though the programmed chips are both working. Are
there any documentation mentioning the hex file generating
process difference between MPASM and gputils. The particular
assembly is a single file and is written in relocatable manner.
