Which version of gtkextra do you have installed? There is a bug in older 
versions of gtkextra that cause the RAM window to hang. Unfortunately, I 
haven't updated my web page with the proper version of gtkextra - So if 
you've downloaded gtkextra from www.dattalo.com/gnupic/gpsim.html you're 
going to see this problem. (And my apologies in advance if this is the 
case). I just went in and updated the gpsim web page to reflect the more 
up-to-date information.
