I'm confused: Microchip's web page [1] makes it look like the pickit2 
does not support the 18F devices.  Does it?  (In my case I want support 
for the 18F4550)

Also: What's wrong with picp for using the Pickit2?

There are so many choices & combinations!  That's a good thing, right?
