When you run "./configure" for ktechlab, it'll check to see whether gpsim is
installed on the system (more specifically, the gpsim header files). You need
gpsim 0.21.4 for ktechlab-0.2 (the version of ktechlab in subversion also has
support for 0.21.11).
If gpsim wasn't detected, configure will print out a message at the end, and
ktechlab will be built without support for PICs - so you'll need to rerun
configure with an appropriate gpsim installed and build ktechlab again for
PIC support.
