People on this list often ask what prototyping system to use. There is
a new, very convenient and fully customizable system!
Beagle Robotics, LLC (http://beaglerobotics.com) presents a new
development and prototyping system for PICMicro users – BeagleBoard.
BeagleBoard is a modular, fully customizable breadboarding system.
Individual modules are plugged-in into a base breadboard to create a
development system that suits you. You control which modules to have
and how they are located on the board!
You buy only modules that you need for the project, no need to pay for
something that you will not use!
Currently available modules are:
BeagleBoard BC-87 – module for PICMicro. Supported PICs are
PIC16F87*, PIC18F*52 and other with similar pinout. Crystal oscillator
and reset circuits, ICD/programming connector.
BeagleBoard BPS-5 – power supply for the system. Provides regulated 5V
at up to 1 A. Wall adapter included
BeagleBoard BLI-4 – LCD/switch interface. Convenient 14-pin connector
for LCD and 4 tactile switches make it ideal for visual display and
human input for you project. LCD display is available separately.
BeagleBoard BB-1 – solderless breadboard, used as a base for other
BeagleBoards. In addition to providing support for other modules it
has a prototyping area with 830 contact points.
We also provide PICMicros and other parts for prototyping.
