Which version of gpsim are you using? This bug has been fixed in CVS.
As a work around, you can either invoke gpsim by specifying the .cod file
at the command line:
$ gpsim -s mycodfile.cod
Or you can load the .cod from the gpsim prompt:
gpsim> load mycodfile.cod
Let me know if this works for you. If it doesn't then there's something
else happening.
