Subject: gpsim segfaults

Hi,

I recently compiled gpsim under Fedora Core
Release 1 and found that it would not compile with
gtk+-2.2.3. So I downloaded the tar files for the
latest GTK+ 2.8.8 and its dependencies files
Glib2-2.8.4 and others, compiled them using make ,
then "make install" and then successfully compiled
gpsim.

Now when I run gpsim it opens successfully but when I
do File->open for a COD file, the program memory
window shows all entries as invalid, and File->Open
dialog doesnt get dismissed. If I do Open again on the
already open Dialog, gpsim segfaults.

On the other hand, if I close the dialog, and try
File->Open again, I have these sort of messages
displayed:

GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion
`G_IS_OBJECT
(object)' failed

GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion
`G_IS_OBJECT (object)'
failed

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have got
stuck with my project because of this.

Thanks,
Manickam.
