I hope you're not having readline problems too! The particular problems
were with code related to initializing readline

gtkextra is another package required for the gui... I forgot about that!
If you want, you can install gtkextra too. But this seems kind of wasteful
since you're almost there with just the old glib.

I think the fix in CVS will get you up and going again. I'm not sure if I
understand your question however. Are you using gpsim-0.21.11 from CVS or
are did you get it from somewhere else?
