Hi All,

I've tried to use odyssey to program PIC18F4550.
I've created the proper pic.conf section:

[PIC18F4550]
  deviceid=0x1200
  deviceidmask=0xffe0
  memtype=flash
  wordsize=16
  codesize=16384
  eesize=256
  progcount=1
  progmult=0
  progtime=5000
  erasetime=5005
  configmask0=0xcf3f
  configmask1=0x1f3f
  configmask2=0x8700
  configmask3=0x00e5
  configmask4=0xc00f
  configmask5=0xe00f
  configmask6=0x400f
  cp_mask=4,0x400f
  cp_all=0x0000
  cp_none=0x400f
  cpd_mask=4,0x8000
  cpd_on=0x0000
  cpd_off=0x8000

Reading of the otherwise programmed PIC18F4550 works perfectly, but it
is not possible neither to erase the chip, nor to program it.
The programmer hardware (simple LPT based with 74LS07 buffers and single
PNP transistor) works perfectly with WinPic under M$ Windows.
Is there any significant difference between eg. 18F452 and 18F4550
regarding the programming procedure???

TIA & Regards,
Wojtek
