Hi Andrew,

gpsim does support the SPI peripheral (see src/ssp.cc), but there is not 
a stand alone SPI module. gpsim has the infrastructure to support. You 
may wish to compare this to the usart where there is both a peripheral 
and a module to test it. In fact, Roy Rankin recently added a gpsim gui 
terminal emulator that can receive and send RS232 data.
