Wow, it is interesting to know that there are so many stuffs
inside MPASMWIN.EXE, no wonder it is such a big file. ;-)

I've tested your tarball and it works with MPASMWIN.EXE from
MPLAB 7.22 (version 5.0) and MPLAB C18 V2.44 (version 4.02).
It is working under both versions of MPASMWIN.EXE. Of course
the one generated with MPASMWIN.EXE v5.0 supports more PICs
than the one generated with version 4.02.

I am testing this under Windows with MinGW/MSys. Python
version is 2.4.1.

By the way, the configuration settings for PIC18 MCUs 
are documented in Microchip Documentation DS51537D 
"PIC18 CONFIGURATION SETTINGS ADDENDUM". Maybe there is 
a new index though.
