Now I am trying the relocatable code template
asm file 2550tmpo.asm from MPLAB 7.22.

LIST P=18F2550, F=INHX32	;directive to define processor
#include <P18F2550.INC>	;processor specific variable definitions
; Oscillator Selection:
CONFIG	FOSC = XT_XT ;XT oscillator, XT used by USB
    <skipped>

Patched gpasm/gplink generates:
:020000040030CA
:0E0000002F000F1F008085000FC00FE00F4083

MPLAB 7.22 (mpasmwin/mplink) generates:
:020000040030CA
:0100010000FE

Now it is a bit strange and it seems I need to test MPLAB 7.30
later. The good thing is that it seems the gpasm patch is working
for the relocatable mode code (the default and the 00 filling
byte are both working).

I will check the new patch to see if it generates right code
for the absolute mode code.

Regards,
Xiaofan
