Well now, that shouldn't happen!

Here are a list of possibilities/things to try.

The old version of gpsim and new version you just install are
intermingling in a bad way. Did you uninstall the old version first?

After you build gpsim, you can run it before installing it. cd to the
gpsim/ directory and run the executable named gpsim.

You can send me the your source along with the .cod and I can try loading
it on my machine.
