Good. I have another solution which I've checked into CVS. Neil Turton
solved this problem a while back and supplied a patch which I apparently
failed to commit... Anyway, if you're interested in the changes, this is
what they look like:

I didn't apply the gtk-1.2 specific changes listed in that patch.
