Hola David,
It might not be a bad idea to let the guys at GCC know what you're doing
(ie, send in a mail to the GCC mail list).. I mailed everyone on that list
that has mentioned PIC in the last 2-3 years, and no-one was aware of a PIC
port in progress. It might save some duplication of effort, and some
interesting ideas might come out of it too.
I, for one, would certainly be interested in seeing this code, if possible.
What stage of development is it at? Is there an estimated timeline for when
something will be released (in any form)?
Its funny, because the thought had occurred to me too to do this as an MSc!
(Great minds think alike / fools seldom differ) :)
