Okay I've got a relative old Ubuntu 5.04 AMD64 CD and some spare
hard disk partitions, so I installed it. I can not get pk2-1.36 to work
either even though I do not have problems reading the firmware
version. So there might be some problems. I tried libusb-0.1.10a
and 0.1.12 but both give the same problems.
