For ready-made programmer, Wisp628A (Serial) could be a good choice.
It is supported by xwisp2 which does not require X to run. It supports many
PIC16F/18F device including the three PICs you have.

PICkit 2 (USB) is another fine choice. You can try pk2/pyk with it. pk2 and
pyk do not need x to run.

It is a bit strange that you select 16F874/16F876 which are replaced by
16F874A/876A. 16LF87 is a fine choice but 16F88 is slightly better.
