I tried the latest version of pyk (0.31) under 64-bit Linux and it does not work
either.
I could not get piklab to build under Ubutu 5.04 AMD 64bit version so I could
not try it with PICkit 2.
As a comparison, I tried pyk-0.31 and usb_pickit 1.5
(from http://www.teammojo.org/PICkit/pickit1.html) with PICKit 1 and both
have no problems under Ubuntu 5.04 64-bit AMD64 OS.
By the way, I also tried some other PIC related packages under the same
platform. gputils can be built without any difficulties. There is
a problem with sdcc but the PIC port is okay. gpsim/pikdev can be built with
a bit of effort. piklab could not be built. JAL also failed to be built.
Anyway, I guess I will stick to 32-bit Linux.
