Hi group,

Got ubuntu up and running. Did sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
then sudo apt-get install picprog:

booyah@ubuntu:~$ sudo apt-get install picprog
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Package picprog is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package picprog has no installation candidate

So I downloaded the .deb file and

booyah@ubuntu:~$ sudo dpkg -i picprog_1.8.1-2_i386.deb
Password:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of picprog:

 picprog depends on libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.0); however:
  Version of libstdc++6 on system is 4.0.1-4ubuntu9.
dpkg: error processing picprog (--install):

Anybody suggest a fix?

-Maxim
